    Business Development Representative


    Secmation has an exciting opportunity for a results-driven, forward-facing, customer relations expert in Business Development with professional sales and marketing experience.

    The ideal candidate will have experience with software products or services within the DoD space and be able to identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities.

    The Business development Associate will be an integral part of the Business Development Management team and your success in this position will be founded on your business relations, sales or customer service background.


    What You Will Do


    • Identify and generate new leads, opportunities and partnerships with new customers.
    • Build and maintain current customer relationships.
    • Educate potential customers on how our solutions can meet their needs.
    • Qualify leads based on their interest and readiness, and schedule introductory calls or meetings with the Secmation management team.
    • Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions in our CRM system.
    • Marketing activities such as collateral development, conference exhibits, social media posts, and more.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications


    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
    • 1-2 years of related experience in sales, business development or a related role.
    • Networking and client-facing experience.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with prospective customers.
    • Proficient in CRM tools.
    • Highly motivated and able to manage tasks with little oversight.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Must be willing to travel for the position.
    • US Citizenship required - must be eligible to receive and maintain security clearance.

    Work Location and Position Type

    This is a full-time hybrid work-from-home position located in DC Metro area, Raleigh, NC, or Huntsville, AL. Workdays are Monday through Friday (workdays and hours may vary based on project needs).


    This position requires necessary business travel estimated at approximately 15% of your time (this percentage varies based on location of candidate).
