DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Reconcile intercompany accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Analyze intercompany transactions and ensure that they are recorded accurately in the general ledger
- Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve any issues related to intercompany transactions.
- Prepare and review intercompany reconciliation reports for management review.
- Assist in the monthend close process by ensuring all intercompany transactions are properly accounted for.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices for intercompany reconciliation.
- Maintain documentation of intercompany transactions and reconciliation processes.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and standards related to intercompany transactions.
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 23 years of experience in intercompany accounting or reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reconciliation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully in accordance with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
