    Description
  • The Video Producer/Editor oversees the planning and execution of public media content including the production of video stories, promos, underwriting spots and special projects.
  • WGCU is Southwest Florida's source for PBS and NPR. A member-supported service of Florida Gulf Coast University, WGCU provides educational programming that inspires, informs and engages our community.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite w/emphasis on Premiere Pro, After Effects, & Photoshop.
  • Experience in current digital video trends and production of videos tailored for social media platforms (e.g. YouTube, Instagram Stories, TikTok).
  • Skill in current digital audio editing and general desktop software applications.
  • Ability to use microphones, portable recording devices, and video studio production equipment.
