Join our team in El Dara, IL We are currently seeking a department manager (m/f/d) for our Site Assessment department at our location in Osnabrück.

Your responsibilities:
You will ensure the optimal technical and economic design of our wind farms and their technical approval capability with a competent technical team by:

  • Evaluating and selecting suitable locations for our wind farm projects using industry-standard software
  • Optimizing turbine locations and types
  • Managing and overseeing the necessary expert opinions for approval and financing
  • Leading and developing our Site Assessment team and managing resources for our quality management.

Your profile:

  • Completed degree or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of wind energy Site Assessment
  • Experience in managing and motivating employees
  • Knowledge of common guidelines for yield calculations and environmental forecasts (e.g. TR6, TA noise)
  • Assertiveness and a solutionoriented approach to identify and solve challenges within the team
  • Proficient in using MS Office, WindPro, and GIS systems
  • Fluent in German and good knowledge of English
