Responsibilities


Our client is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their team Please note that this is not a traditional technical architect-related role.

The Solutions Architect is responsible for managing the State convenience contract with Xerox to provide print services to VITA and other interested state agencies.

This role was created as a result of the agency eliminating one of their towers and aims to establish robust print services.

The Solutions Architect acts as the key point of contact for new services, issues, inventory management, ticket management, vendor management, and data for billing purposes.


  • Manage the State convenience contract with Xerox to provide print services
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new service implementations, service issues, and general service inquiries
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate tracking and reporting of assets
  • Handle ticket management using ServiceNow, ensuring efficient resolution of issues and user satisfaction
  • Manage vendor relationships, including oversight of service level agreements (SLAs), vendor performance, billing, and invoice reconciliation
  • Document and streamline processes related to print services, asset management, and correlated billing processes

Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience working with suppliers and managing vendor relationships
  • Experience in ticket management using platforms such as ServiceNow
  • Strong background in asset management and understanding of billing processes related to service delivery
  • Proven experience working with suppliers with demonstrated benefits to the business through strong relationship management
  • Selfstarter who can excel in a team environment within an aggressively growing and dynamic enterprise
  • Demonstrated ability to bring problems to resolution regardless of the diversity and level of seniority of those involved
  • Driven and capable of working with mínimal supervision and under specific deadlines
  • Skilled in oral and written communication as it pertains to technical information
