    Position Information:

    The Clinical Nurse is accountable for delivering holistic nursing care to patients and their families by executing a customized care plan. This plan is crafted based on the patient's unique developmental and healthcare requirements, as identified through a thorough assessment of their physical, psychological, and socioeconomic status, in addition to physician instructions for care, treatment, and education. The Clinical Nurse comprehends the organizational needs and actively promotes the mission, values, and management of patient care services. Furthermore, the Clinical Nurse wholeheartedly embraces and integrates ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, North Carolina Board of Nursing Practice Act, WakeMed's Division of Nursing Professional Practice model, and WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model. The PFCC model focuses on four primary principles: Dignity and Respect, Information Sharing, Participation, and Collaboration. Patients, families, and the Clinical Nurse collaborate to ensure effective care delivery.

    Experience Requirements:

    2 Years Nursing Experience in a Related Field Required - Or No Experience Necessary With Preferred Education

    Education Requirements:

    Diploma in Nursing Required - Or Associate's Degree in Nursing Required - And Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred

    Licensure/Certification Requirements:

    Registered Nurse License Required

    Hours of Work:

    Full-time Position: Sunday to Saturday, 7a-7p

    Weekend Requirements:

    As Required
