Job description:

High volume, high growth residential real estate investment company seeking a Purchasing Agent to join our growing team for the renovation of residential properties.
This individual will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating costs, communicating with suppliers. sub-contractors, and timely procurement. You will play a crucial role in managing supplies for the timely completion of projects.

Source and evaluate potential suppliers and sub-contractors based on quality, price, and availabilty.

Negotiate proposals and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure favorable pricing and terms in conjunction with property budgets.

Collaborate with internal teams and project managers to determine time line of material requirements for projects to ensure availability and delivery as needed

Coordinate with project managers to ensure materials are available
Track and report on key performance indicators related to purchasing activities
Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers regarding quality, delivery, or pricing
Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions

Some of the responsibilities relating to properties include Permitting and communication with County and Village personnel.


Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
Strong knowledge of principles and practices

Proficiency in production planning and scheduling
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Knowledge of construction finish materials a plus

Ability to create and manage reports in Excel and other formats to assist with volume property management.

Verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills

Previous real estate renovation purchasing experience and project management skills are plusses.

Work well in a team environment and work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment with ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

Compensation based upon experience.

$ $30.00 per hour
