The Yale Cancer Center and the Yale School of Medicine is seeking a Chief of Neuro-Oncology. This individual must be an outstanding academic clinician, trained in either medical oncology or neurology, and with a strong interest in translational research, the development of clinical trials, and novel diagnostic and treatment modalities. Emphasis is placed on the ability to lead clinical teams, conduct high impact clinical and scientific research, and mentor junior faculty and trainees. This position requires clinical care and clinical research activities as well as expectations for participating in the teaching and research missions of the institution.
The incoming Chief must clearly articulate the direction and values of the Yale Cancer Center. The successful candidate will have proven leadership abilities, a track-record of clinical excellence, a history of growing research programs, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of clinical care. The individual who assumes this role must be capable of leading innovation, collaborating across multiple disciplines, and sustaining a culture dedicated to value and safety.
The Yale Cancer Center, Yale School of Medicine, and Section of Neuro-Oncology invite applications from board-certified/board eligible oncologists or neurologists for this position at the levels of Associate or full Professor at the Yale School of Medicine.
