An Account Manager is an integral part of our agency who supports all aspects of the client relationship and assists with growing the Agency's book of business.

Clients rely on our account managers to assist them with their insurance needs while providing top tier customer service.

The agency relies on our account managers to ensure accounts are being expertly maintained, well-rounded, and cross-sells are being offered.


Responsibilities:


  • Service and process all new business, renewals, and endorsement requests.
  • Advise customers on coverages, products, and companies in a timely and succinct manner.
  • Be the main point of contact for our agency and display professionalism throughout every touchpoint with the clients.
  • Generate complete and accurate quotes in a timely manner while objectively assessing underwriting guidelines, addons, and discounts in order to provide the client with the best coverage while maintaining and growing the agency's book of business.
  • Daily analyzing of reports to round accounts, proactively notify clients of issues or renewal questions, and maintain a wellmanaged list of accounts.
  • Resolve client concerns and handle customer inquiries with the ability to prioritize from high level immediate needs to routine requests while maintaining superior customer service.
  • Assist the agency with projects and other initiatives as needed.

Minimum Requirements:


Skills/Knowledge:


  • Indepth knowledge and understanding of Personal or Commercial Lines carrier appetites and product offerings.
  • Customer service and sales experience in an insurance setting preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and set, maintain, and reach goals.
  • Strong account rounding and crossselling skills.
  • AMS 360 experience is a plus.
  • SinglePoint experience is a plus.
  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams experience.

Experience/Education:


  • Massachusetts Property and Casualty Producer's License (or willing to obtain one prior to start date).
  • 3+ plus years of Personal or Commercial lines experience with an agency or carrier preferred.
