Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative (Containerized Acceptance Rep) handles outside and in-house
phone calls and provides acceptance approvals for bulk and containerized waste for incoming loads. The
position ensures that customers are highly satisfied with the service provided at the facility and ensures
that facility permit requirements are met and remain compliant on a daily basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Oversees and answers high volume of customer calls.
- Completes waste acceptance by truck in the plant, profile & analysis approval, advance sample
etc.
- Provides scheduling and contacts customers for incoming loads.
- Assists the customer service representative with acceptability and rejections.
- Assists customer in remanifests rejected drums to an alternate Treatment, Storage, and
- Works with accounting, researches any and all customer billing complaints, and generates
- Approves profiles & manifest entry when needed, typing and supplying facility with daily
- Ensures that facility permit requirements are met and remain compliant on a daily basis.
Other Functions:
- Researches for manifest copies, invoice problems and electronically sends out brochures, pricing
- Works oncall 24 hours/day, 7 days/week on a rotating 1stoncall with other representatives
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
