Summary:


This position is responsible for a wide range of support activities within our HR department; from assisting with coordinating HR related tasks, to maintaining our employee database, files and assisting with recruiting coordinating activities.

This position will also be a liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Assist with daytoday operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources
  • Assist with updating and compiling employee records
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities
  • Assist with coordinating HR related projects
  • Assist with managing employee requests
  • Assist with Onboarding and Offboarding
  • Assist with recruiting efforts
  • Assist with coordinating recruitment events; such as career fairs
  • Completing reference checks
  • Assist with compiling reports for the HR department
  • Other HR/Job related duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field preferred
  • At least two to three years of HR related experience
  • Knowledge of employment legislature and practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of HR resources and tools
  • Professionalism, organization, and project management skills
  • Strong telephone and virtual meeting platform skills (i.e., Teams, Zoom, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
