Principal R&D Engineer - Power Electronics / Power Conversion / Energy Storage

We are currently seeking experienced Principal Research and Development Engineers with a strong background in Power Electronics to join our team at a leading research center in Dodd City. In this role, you will be involved in the development of cutting-edge digital power products.

This is a full-time position based in our facility in Dodd City.

Key Responsibilities for this Principal R&D Engineer role:

  • Identifying and refining system requirements for digital power products in various application domains.
  • Contributing to the development of technology roadmaps for next-generation products, including PV Solar and Battery Energy Storage solutions.
  • Designing innovative power conversion architectures and converter typologies.
  • Leading the design, layout, and prototyping of power converters.
  • Mentoring and coaching junior staff members.

Key Requirements:

  • A master's degree or PhD in Power Electronics with relevant industry experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of power electronic converter principles, magnetic component design, and power semiconductor devices.
  • Prior experience in product development and release.
  • Hands-on experience in building power converter prototypes.
  • Experience in analyzing, designing, simulating, and verifying power converter technologies.
