- Manage new or enhanced business opportunities by recruitment of new agents through regular sales calls and servicing of existing agent relationships.
- Work with management to develop targeted marketing plans, materials, agent distribution and messages that align with the marketing strategy of the organization and territory.
- Develop an understanding and knowledge of the products and services offered.
- Develop and maintain short and long-term marketing and sales plans.
- Making presentations to agents for business growth opportunities
- Evaluating product and service marketability in order to meet customers' needs.
- Receive all inbound lead inquiries from email, 800-number, websites, etc. and ensure all opportunities are followed and handled appropriately.
- Meet or exceed established marketing sales and budgetary goals.
- Maintain record of all marketing visits and presentation and reporting the effectiveness and outcome of agent visits and presentations.
- Maintaining current knowledge base of industry trends, target markets and competition.
- Assist with planning and attending trade shows, association meetings/events and facilitate any necessary follow up with potential contacts.
- Work with Director of Agency Relations to enhance, update and maintain company website to reflect marketing efforts and campaigns including promotional items.
- Assist with tracking and reporting of all invoices to accounting for payment.
- Assist with office support duties as needed.
- Maintain inventory of marketing materials.
- Comply with FCC and other legal requirements and guidelines regarding marketing distribution.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Two years of previous sales or marketing experience
- Prior insurance underwriting experience
- Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to review information, make decisions and manage time effectively with minimal to no supervision
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Ability to deal with confidential matters appropriately
- Ability to gain confidence and respect of all levels of management and staff through professionalism and positive attitude
- Maintain travel as required
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary
- Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
- Bilingual Spanish fluency

This position is remote but will need to live and travel throughout the Houston, TX Market.
Responsible for planning and executing marketing initiatives in order to generate new retail insurance agency customer base as well as promoting/retaining existing customer base.
Responsible for traveling within sales territory to meet prospects and contracted agents (Houston, Pasadena and Pearland) and Conducting calls and face to face meetings with agencies dailyESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
