Youngquist Brothers LLC is seekng an experienced site prep/underground utility worker to work on job sites around south Florida.

Location:

Fort Myers, Lehigh, Naples, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Jupiter, Port St Lucie, Melbourne, Lake Wales job sites.

Travel to locations around South Florida required. Home most nights but some overnight stay is required.


Full-Time

Compensation:
Hourly


Truck and all tools supplied by company.

Job Summary:

This is a key position in the field for Youngquist Brothers LLC based in Fort Myers, FL.

This team member will work with up to 3 individuals on various job sites around Soth Florida.

In some cases, this team member may have to supervise small crews in different locations they will have responsibility for.

Ensuring safety to their team and delivering a quality finished product are the key responsibilities of this team member.


Understanding the different projects and how to successfully navigate situations where there are obstacles present is at the core of this position.


Understanding how to get the best out of the people on your team to create cohesiveness and comradery is also a key element of this position.

A successful team leader in this position will manage the process from start to completion.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Must follow all company's safety policies and procedures to ensure that appropriate safety precautions are taken in all circumstances and at all times.
  • Be able to work with the crew getting the job done.
  • Operate heavy equipment for underground utility.
  • Understanding of underground utilities and installation of drainage lines, water lines, sewer lines, temporary roadways, culverts under roadways, etc.
  • Secure work site, equipment and materials at the end of each shift.
  • Help crew members to cleanup job site after work is done, place temporary asphalt patches or concrete on streets as needed.
  • Performs preventive maintenance by greasing, oiling and making minor repair on equipment.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Knowledge

  • Underground untilities experience for 5 years
  • Ability to read and understand construction prints.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
  • Able to work with loud noises.
  • Able to pass preemployment screening that includes background check and drug testing.
  • Able to comply with job physical demands (e.g., standing, bending, walking, driving, etc.).
  • Able to lifts, load and carry workpieces or equipment of minimum 50 pounds in a daily basis.
Pay is based on experience

Paid vacation time and Holidays after 1 year

Health, dental, vision, Life, AD&D, STD, LTD, 401K after 90 days


Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour
