**The Opportunity**

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Learn and apply industry and Black & Veatch specific engineering codes, policies, and procedures

+ Support continuous improvement and change management efforts

+ Performcomplex research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection?

+ Collect, assimilate, and managedata for engineering design work

+ Preparecomplex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles?

+ Manageand adhereto budget, schedule, and quality requirements ?

+ Assigntasks to and coordinatewith both internal and external team members on complex projects

+ Initiatecontact with other disciplines as needed to identify and coordinate details of the work.?

+ Actively seekto understand client interests and drivers through normal client contact and through interaction and communication with project leadership ?

**Preferred Qualifications**

Experience in most of following areas:

+ Instrument and/or Service Air Systems

+ Demineralized (DM) water supply and make up systems

+ Service and potablewater supply system

+ Natural, hydrogen, and nitrogen gas Supply System

+ Closed cycle cooling water system

+ High Pressure / Intermediate Pressure / Low / Auxiliary Steam system

+ Feedwater system

+ Condensate system

+ CO2 Supply System

+ Calculations which include pipe sizing calculations, pipe thickness calculations, pump sizing calculation, control valve sizing calculations, heat exchanger sizing, atm. tank sizing etc.

+ P&ID development

+ Air, gas, water & steam systems, typical systems which we are looking to perform design & engineering work

**Minimum Qualifications**

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 8 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

**Work Environment/Schedule**
