Position summary:
The Highlawn is looking for motivated, personable Event Server to join our team at one of New Jersey's most celebrated restaurants/steakhouses.
The server is responsible for promoting and ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment and guaranteeing only the highest quality products are being served.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner.
- Anticipates guest needs, ensuring constant communication with colleagues, management, and the kitchen during service
- Ensure guest are serviced within specified time
- Check tables throughout service times for customer satisfaction, resolve guest complaints
- Has a good knowledge of menu and presentation standards.
- Must be considerate, patient and willing to help out fellow employees
- Inspect dining room, table settings, chairs, floors, proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety
Qualifications:
- Passion for food, beverage, and hospitality
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Ability to communicate with members of the kitchen and dining room teams

Pay Type:
$18.00-$25.00 commensurate on experience
