    Objective of the position

    • Cost, quality and on-time procurement in the associated specialist purchasing areas in the context of the targets
    • Project coordination with the HQ in Germany

    Major Responsibilities

    • Market analysis, bid comparisons, processing of orders and invoices
    • Selection of high quality suppliers during simultaneous concentration of the number of suppliers
    • Detection of synergy potentials
    • Preparation of purchasing strategies after consultation with specialist departments
    • Negotiation with suppliers
    • Preparation/completion of the necessary contract documents
    • Awarding contracts, in accordance with existing corporate policies
    • Developing supplier strategies
    • Maintenance and development of important customer-supplier relationships
    • Processing of complaints from escalation level
    • Initiation and monitoring of supplier development measures
    • Commitment to achieving the savings targets and responsible for the corresponding continuous improvement programs in the context of purchasing goals
    • Preparation/completion of the necessary BET, RFQ and project review documents
    • Support and participation in projects
    • Commitment to achieve the material purchasing and project greenfield goals set in the framework of the budget / project allocations
    • Compliance with the regulated processes in the quality process instructions for the best possible benefit of the company
    • Representative of purchasing at project reviews

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field
    • Master of Negotiation
    • Knowledge of products and market
    • Proficient SAP R3
    • Proficient with Contract Law
    • Understanding of cross-functional activities (departments like quality assurance, accounting, controlling & production)
    • Strong Communication / interpersonal /conflict resolution skills
    • Proficient MS-Office
    • Familiar with OSHA standards
    • Process, Results driven
    • Strong analytical skills (process/ systems)
    • Proficiency in English Language (verbal and written)
    • Additional German/Spanish Language skills preferred
    • 3+ years of experience working in Purchasing or Procurement within a manufacturing environment
    • Experience in the specialist's areas of Plastic Injection (tools, materials, components, processes, devices, Capex, MRO, Services, etc.)
