Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location:Salisbury, MD 21804

Shift's: 7A - 3:30P | 11P - 7A

Qualifications:


  • Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
  • 2+ Years of experience as LPN
  • 6+ months of Corrections Experience
  • Knowledge of COVID19 symptoms, transmission, and prevention.
  • Ability to assess and provide nursing care to elderly patients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities:


  • Monitor patient's vitals and record them in their file.
  • Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication.
  • Update patient records in a confidential manner
  • Evaluate the patient's wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff.
  • Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families.
  • Move patients from wheelchairs, beds, and gurneys.
