We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer - Technical Assistance (M/F/diverse) to join our Original Equipment Solutions team at our Karben location.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the project team in preparing suppliers for projects until SOP (Start of Production)
  • Conducting Maturity Evaluation in collaboration with the project team, particularly Advanced Purchasing
  • Conducting supplier component reviews with the project team and following up on them
  • Supporting the decisionmaking process for supplier selection
  • Assisting the supplier during the product development and process development phases until SOP
  • Evaluating milestones and due dates
  • Tracking and closing processes
  • Communicating directly with the supplier
  • Approving suppliers, processes, and products
  • Defining SLC (Supplier Lifecycle) criteria with the project team

Profile:


  • Bachelor's degree (Master's or equivalent preferred) in a technical field
  • Experience in operations, Quality Management, and/or R&D
  • Leadership experience in small project teams (26 people)
  • Strong technical background, including Project Management skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of mechanical processing, injection/blowmolding, rubber technologies, and assembling
  • Certified VDA 6.3 auditor
  • Occasional participation in international teams

Advanced Skills:

  • Familiarity with FIDES, SCR 1 + 2, APQP, Safe Launch Concept, run+rate, and capacity evaluation
