DUTIES:

Registers new patients with complete and accurate demographics according to procedure
Verifies patient's insurance eligibility and benefits at each visit
Updates patients' charts accurately and in a timely manner
Scans documents into the electronic medical record as directed.
Completes work daily to compile missing demographic and insurance information for billing purposes
Obtain prior authorizations for care
Is able to handle a high volume of incoming calls


REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Medical Receptionists Experience with EMRs Strong verbal and written communication skills


Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
