Responsibilities:


  • Tracks referrals and maintains waitlist as needed and appropriate.
  • Completes all intakes and discharges in the electronic health record and eMedicaid system.
  • Responsible for monthly Health Home billing for all clients.
  • Monitors utilization of services.
  • Provides training and technical assistance to day program, residential, assertive community treatment, and opioid treatment program staff.
  • Data management and reporting, including monthly panel uploads to Maryland's statewide health information exchange and the agency's data analytics program.
  • Utilization of HIT tools and reports.
  • Completes chart audits for compliance.
  • Requests and sends medical records for care coordination with other service providers and agencies involved with the clients.
  • Attends/participates in required staff meetings.
  • Orients new clients to staff members, visitors, and volunteers of the program.
  • Successfully complete all required trainings as assigned and within required timeframes.

Requires:


  • Some college related to social work, psychology or related discipline preferred. High school and 13 years office experience, preferably in a healthcare or behavioral health setting required.
  • Skills and experience in Microsoft Office programs. Familiarization with electronic health records and data analytics. Ability to use office equipment (PC, copier, fax, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to establish therapeutic relationships with clients and to communicate and work effectively with external/internal providers and staff.
  • Must possess analytical skills sufficient to handle routine administrative details, such as completing incident reporting, service notes, billing notes, and any other related documentation.
