About the job

Our client, a global biologics company have entered a sustained period of growth therefore they are recruiting for a brand new facility based close to Boston, MA. As one of the largest manufacturers in the world in their field, this is a very exciting time to join the company.

As we begin to grow the team in the USA we are looking for Material Handlers to join the logistics team on a permanent basis. The main purpose of the role will be organisation of the flow of materials through the Boston site, from goods inward (Receipt and processing of materials), lean staging of production materials of goods inward, to shipping of finished goods.

Material Handler responsibilities:

Take delivery of goods, with the use of forklifts where required. Ensure that goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and check for damage and quantity.
Monitor and perform daily replenishment of consumables.
Staging of raw materials for production use.
Deal with individual stock requests quickly and efficiently.
Preparation and dispatch of finished goods.
Preparation and dispatch of site waste.
Assist with stock checks when required.
Keep stores clean and tidy.
Other related duties/responsibilities as required or assigned by the supervisor

Material Handler requirements:

Experience within a similar role
An ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a busy environment
Forklift license preferred but not a necessity as training can be given
ERP experience essential
