Summary of Position:
We are looking for a dedicated attorney who is passionate about helping Plaintiffs.
We are looking for a leader to take charge when needed but can also take an assignment and work independently to produce the best law and motion work product possible.
Requirements:
Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
Member of the California State Bar.
1-3 years of experience in the legal field in California.
Experience in Law and Motion (1-3 years of motion writing).
Superior writing skills and legal research.
Comprehensive Case Management skills.
Paralegal or legal assistant experience (preferred).
Experience in personal injury, employment and / or general litigation (preferred).A
Responsibilities:
Be a Plaintiff's side litigator who gets sh*t done, right.
- Evaluate facts, analyze claims, and write pleadings.
Research and Analysis:
Search for the proper case law needed for arguments within Pleadings. Analyze drafts to ensure they are in top shape to be served or filed.
Legal Drafting:
Research and prepare: Complaints, Pleadings (Motions, Oppositions, Replies, etc.) Briefs, Discovery, Jury Instructions and more based on the type of case involved.
Discovery Management:
Write and respond to written discovery requests, discovery motions, meet and confers, and take/defend depositions.
- Court Appearances.
- Trial work up.
- Meet and confer with opposing counsel as needed.
