The Institute for International and Comparative Public Law at the Faculty of Law at WWU is seeking to fill two positions as:


Research Associate

(E 13 TV-L)
starting at the earliest possible date. Each position is part-time (65%) and fixed-term for 3 years. The teaching obligation is 4 hours per week for full-time positions.


Your responsibilities:


  • Conducting a doctoral project as part of the position
  • Participation in research and teaching
  • Taking on the editorial responsibility for the journal "Kirche und Recht"
  • Assisting in the establishment of the Münster International Law School (teaching, supervision, and organizational tasks for the German-French program "German and French Law" as well as the Bachelor's program "International and Comparative Law" starting in 2023, including conducting seminars for students in these programs)

Our expectations:


  • A top grade in the first state examination in law (or, if already completed, in the second state examination)
  • Knowledge in the field of "Law
