Challenges for Team Players at Mountlake Terrace:
  • At Mewa, we rent industrial textiles (workwear, cleaning cloths, oil absorbent mats, etc.), pick them up for cleaning after use, and return them spotlessly clean.
  • Chemical and physical cleaning processes and environmentally friendly treatment of resulting wastewater play a central role in this process.
  • And this is where you come in: As a future specialist in wastewater technology, you and your colleagues ensure that our water treatment plant is fully operational at all times and meets our high standards of water quality.
  • To achieve this, you will learn about all processes of water treatment. You will monitor the technical processes in the plant, carry out mechanical cleaning, maintenance and repairs, and test the water quality through biological measurements. You will quickly and reliably resolve any malfunctions in measuring instruments, pumps, and valves.
  • In addition, you will take samples, examine wastewater and sludge, and coordinate disposal dates for sludge and waste.
