Brand New Memory Care Facility on the Glen at Hiland Meadow Campus has a great opportunity for a LPN to work
part time nights or per diem and who is looking for a rewarding working experience working with elders and honing their nursing and leadership skills.

This is a brand new facility providing comfortable, secure living in an environment designed for safety and independence.

Programs serve individuals with early to mid-stage memory impairment — those with difficulties that require watchfulness and a supportive environment, but
who do not need nursing home care.

The center is thoughtfully designed and
services are tailored for individuals with memory loss, Alzheimer's disease and other related dementias.

The
LPN will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • The nursing care of residents under the direction of the Nursing Director
  • Oversee and mentor a team of resident assistants
  • Pass medications to approximately 20 residents
  • Be able to selfdirect with mínimal guidance and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Maintain detailed documentation and communicate and changes in residents needs to the team
  • Foster at all times resident independence and freedom of choice
  • Education of families to make the most out of their visits with their loved ones

Minimum Requirements:


  • Valid NYS LPN license
  • 1+ year of experience working in a direct patient care role handling med passes

Preferred Requirements:


  • Understanding of assisted living regulations
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively in a fast pace work environment
  • Engage within a team setting
  • Strong leadership and mentorship of the Resident Assistant staff
  • Think, act and intervene independently in both routine and emergency situations
  • Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

Pay range:
$24-$30.10

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.

Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.

The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
