- Strategically plan events to align with association goals and enhance attendee experiences.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to maximize efficiency and stay within budget constraints.
- Lead site selection strategies, manage RFP processes, and optimize financial outcomes.
- Oversee all aspects of event planning, from pre-planning to onsite management.
- Stay current on industry trends and implement new approaches for event production.
- Additional projects and tasks as required.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in domestic event planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, averaging 6-8 trips per year.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Physical requirements: Sitting, Walking, Standing, Manual Dexterity, Hearing, and Seeing.
