Operations Manager - ABOVE Vacation Residences


ABOVE Vacation Residences is currently seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the operations of our properties.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for effectively managing labor, productivity, standards, quality control, and safety measures within the Operations Department.

This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.


Responsibilities:

Manage overall operations of the properties, ensuring safe and efficient procedures are followed.

Serve as a company representative on regulatory matters and enhance operational procedures and systems.

Supervise and lead a team of employees, including recruitment, training, performance management, and motivation.

Build strong relationships with homeowners, ABOVE associates, and other department heads.

Familiarize yourself with the unique features and instructions for each property to ensure smooth guest experiences.

Take ownership of fulfilling special requests and exploring opportunities to add value to guest experiences.

Support key management personnel in various tasks and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Maintain ongoing communication with customers and homeowners to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Strive daily to curate exceptional experiences for guests, owners, and associates.

Collaborate with the General Manager and management team to set policies, procedures, and systems for smooth operations.

Monitor and manage the operations budget, striving to meet or exceed labor budget expectations.

Promote a safe and injury-free workplace, adhering to ABOVE's organization standards.

Act as the primary point of contact for customer issues, working to resolve problems and improve the customer experience.

Analyze operations data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvements.

Implement changes in process workflow, employee requirements, and equipment layout as needed.

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and legal regulations.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices through educational opportunities and professional networks.


Required Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications:


  • Ability to anticipate customer needs, multitask, and adapt to changing goals.
  • Working knowledge of task software systems and management processes.
  • Proven experience in supervising departments with 15+ employees.
  • Budget management skills and excellence in customer service.
  • Strong decisionmaking and problemsolving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Selfmotivated with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated organizational and coordinating skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
