    Description


    My client who specialize in designing and manufacturing capital equipment for the Semiconductor industry are looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer to join their team, based in San Jose, California.


    Responsibilities:


    Develop the design of semiconductor equipment chambers and their supporting systems in alignment with both functional and engineering specifications, ensuring adherence to performance, quality, reliability, cost, and schedule objectives.

    Ensure the quality and reliability of systems through the creation and execution of comprehensive test procedures.
    Perform technical evaluations of process requirements, specifications, standards, and designs through rigorous technical reviews.
    Identify and address a diverse array of complex mechanical issues by employing a broad analytical approach.
    Undertake concept and feasibility assessments, engage in Research and Development initiatives, and validate new or modified designs.

    Assist team members in generating detailed engineering documentation essential for the efficient manufacture of components and subsystems, facilitating both prototype development and large-scale production.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
    5+ years PECVD experience
    Knowledge of CAD / CAE
    Basic understanding of classical fluid, heat & mass transfer
    Familiarity with ASME Y.14.5 and other relevant standards
