Duties:

- Contributes to the sustainment of a variety of agency performance management and improvement initiatives related to the Government Performance and Results Modernization Act (GPRA) of 2010, and other pertinent laws, regulations, and agency policies.
- Research, plans, and implements a variety of projects and mathematical/statistical studies involving the compilation and analysis of administrative and operational data.
- Develops aspects of survey and sample designs by providing insight, information, and measurements.
- Collaborates with highergraded analysts in the development, construction, and maintenance of large sample databases as it applies to mathematical analysis for use in management evaluation of internal operating procedures and...
- Creates optimum sample designs for major current surveys and projects, making basic assumptions and developing the statistical methods aspects, such as investigation of variances, biases, sample sizes, and cost and time factors.
- Explores and utilizes new and complex mathematical/statistical techniques.
- Contributes to research reports, technical papers, guidelines, and instructions to provide information and direction to all interested parties.
- Participates in the preparation of responses to inquiries from toplevel management, Congressional committees, Office of Management and Budget, General Accounting Office, and...
- Collaborates with a variety of offices on the analysis, assessment, planning, and reporting of shared efforts, such as budget justification, risk management, SSA program evaluation, and other data analyticsrelated activities.

Qualifications:
- Applicants must qualify for the series and grade of the posted position. To qualify at the GS-9 level, you must have one of the following:
- At least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-7, or equivalent, which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled which has equipped me with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position
Such experience includes:
A) research, analyze, interpret, evaluate, and perform difficult, but well precedented assignments; B) learn techniques and gain knowledge through either job experience and/or extended professional training (e.g., relevant graduate study) that supplements technical understanding; C) conduct analytical investigations using scientific methodology and problem solving.
- A Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR have completed 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related, in a field that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the work of the position.

- When combined, graduate education and experience totaling 100% of the above requirements.
To qualify at the GS-11 level, you must have one of the following:
- A Ph.
or equivalent doctoral degree OR have completed 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the work of the position.
