Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist plays a key role in evaluating patients' functional levels, aiding in treatment planning in consultation with the physician and patient's family. As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

Evaluate the patient's level of function with diagnostic procedures, set goals based on current abilities and potential progress
Provide guidance on therapeutic activities to enhance independence, physical, and mental well-being
Offer advice on the use of assistive devices and equipment to patients and families
Engage in Performance Improvement Activities and contribute to discharge planning
Ensure patient-centered care using the 4Ms framework (Considering What Matters, Medications, Mentation, and Mobility) and deliver Age-Friendly Care

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program recognized by leading healthcare bodies
Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Practice with a minimum of 2 years of experience
Current CPR Certification
Possess a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and a clean driving history
