Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming calls, taking and delivering messages when necessary.
  • Greet and direct visitors.
  • Process all incoming and outgoing mail and faxes, including distribution proper postage, etc.
  • Prepare customs documents for intercompany shipments.
  • Scan and update work copies of orders to K: drive.
  • Maintain Capacity Planning spreadsheet and upload to K: drive.
  • Separate invoices and forward copies as required.
  • Perform clerical duties such as typing correspondence and documents, filing work orders, purchase orders, and Certificates of Analysis.
  • Maintain and update branch calendar.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Review Visitor Log Book at the end of every business day to ensure all visitors have signed out.
  • Support production projects by labelling bags, envelopes, or cartons at desk when time allows.
  • Report security and/or health and safety infractions or potential infractions in a timely manner and to the appropriate contacts.
  • Perform other related tasks that his/her supervisor deems necessary for the efficient operation of the department.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay:
$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:


  • Customer service: 2 years (required)
