Discover your #H2OpportunityAECOM Technical Services, Inc. has multiple openings for a Travel Demand Forecasting Consultant to be based in Arlington, VA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for travel survey design, sampling plan development, processing, and analysis, including household travel surveys, transit onboard surveys, focus groups, stated preference surveys, and other specialized survey types.
- Assemble and prepare data for use in travel demand models.
- Analyze markets.
- Evaluate projects for Alternatives Analysis/DEIS and major investment studies.
- Write reports and present findings.
- Communicate with clients.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Position requires:
- CUBE/TP+ or TRANSCAD;
- ARCGIS, MS EXCEL, MS ACCESS and SPSS, or SAS;
- Travel demand analysis and forecasting principles;
- Estimating travel demand models using software or coding languages such as Alogit, Biogeme, or R;
- Econometrics;
- Data analytics, including transportationrelated "big data" datasets and data analysis software tools;
- Software development or programming skills; and
- Economic analysis of transportation impacts or benefits.
