AECOM Technical Services, Inc. has multiple openings for a Travel Demand Forecasting Consultant to be based in Arlington, VA.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for travel survey design, sampling plan development, processing, and analysis, including household travel surveys, transit onboard surveys, focus groups, stated preference surveys, and other specialized survey types.
Assemble and prepare data for use in travel demand models.
Analyze markets.
Evaluate projects for Alternatives Analysis/DEIS and major investment studies.
Write reports and present findings.
Communicate with clients.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Position requires:

CUBE/TP+ or TRANSCAD;
ARCGIS, MS EXCEL, MS ACCESS and SPSS, or SAS;
Travel demand analysis and forecasting principles;
Estimating travel demand models using software or coding languages such as Alogit, Biogeme, or R;
Econometrics;
Data analytics, including transportationrelated "big data" datasets and data analysis software tools;
Software development or programming skills; and
Economic analysis of transportation impacts or benefits.
