- Ordering & Inventory - MIT's must know the proper ordering procedures for all inventoried items. Orders must be placed on time and ensuring we never run out of products.
- Employee Scheduling – The MIT's must be capable of scheduling staff appropriately to ensure efficiency and quality of service.
- Accounting – MIT's are ultimately responsible for the daily accounting of the store
- Verification of mid-day cash drops, closing deposit & paper work.
- Hiring - The MIT is responsible for employing and training all personnel. The MIT supervises the hiring of all personnel.
- MIT's should have an understanding of staff skill levels and areas of weakness. MIT's must continually strive to upgrade the staff to optimal levels.
- MIT's are ultimately responsible for the staff's training, re-training and development.
- MIT's must be the most critical officer of cleanliness in the operation by providing immediate feedback and review of cleanliness tasks on a daily basis. MIT's must enforce the following programs to ensure store cleanliness:
- Enforce daily, bi-weekly & monthly cleaning and maintenance programs, and initiate immediate corrective action whenever necessary.
- Install the "clean-as-you-go" philosophy into staff members.
- Teach staff to emphasize cleanliness in customer sight areas such as the lobby, front line, front slicer, meat case, sneeze guard, back counter, drink stations, front door glass, restrooms and restaurant exterior.
- Install a second-nature approach to daily checklists and demand consistent completion of checklists.
- Inspects food and food preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.
- Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints.
- Display and adherence of mandatory food safety certifications, and all other required postings.
- Oversees and trains staff on all food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with local area environmental health and safety requirements.
- Oversees and monitors portion control standards of food and beverages for the staff.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Provide quality customer service aiming for 100% customer satisfaction
- Strive to build trust with your employees and create an atmosphere of teamwork
- Complete daily tasks such as scheduling, ordering, and running a clean fun business while meeting store sales goals
- Ability to work a 40 hour week
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to handle fast-paced and high stress situations in the store
- Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision
- Willing to offer opinions and recommendations towards the store and employees
