As the Ombudsman Data Entry Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

  • Answer high volume calls from long term care residents in nursing homes, assisted living and adult home facilities and from family members and the general public.
  • Address resident concerns by phone and when appropriate relays to staff or volunteer ombudsman for assigned facility.
  • Develop rapport with volunteers and follow up with volunteers to request reports and other necessary documentation.
  • Travel to various long term care facilities to provide coverage for complaint investigation, routine visits, and resident councils.
  • Enter data and staff reports into program database on an ongoing basis

Ombudsman Data Entry Coordinator Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:30-4 with 1/2 hour lunchQualifications:

  • Comfortable working with people with diverse backgrounds
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field
    preferred:
  • Associate's Degree in Human services
  • OR 13 years of experience
