Job Title: Sr. Contracts Specialist/Analyst

Salary: $105,000 - $120,000/year

Contract Type: 4 months Contract-To-Hire (Long Term - Full Time)

Location: Falls Church, VA (Hybrid/Remote)

Work Status: US Citizens Only

Necessary Skills:

Exceptional knowledge of all phases of acquisition management.
Knowledge of price and cost analysis sufficient to review proposals against previous history, actual and estimated expenditures, and established rates to determine price reasonableness or to determine a negotiation position.
Knowledge of the methods and techniques of fact-finding, analysis, and resolution of complex problems, and the ability to develop concrete action plans to solve problems.
Demonstrated ability to provide expert technical advice, staff coordination and consultation to foster formulating guidelines, implementing new developments, and providing expert interpretation
Excellent written and oral communications skills, applied to tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree that includes at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields:
Accounting, Business, Finance, Law, Contracts, Purchasing, Economics, Industrial Management, Marketing, Quantitative Methods, or Organization.
Minimum 10 years of direct Federal procurement experience in the GS-1102 series or equivalent capacity:
Minimum 5 years of federal procurement or contract analysis experience as a federal employee.
Minimum 5 years of DoD procurement or contract analysis experience preferred.
Expertise in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) requirements
Familiarity with DoD Directives and Instructions, laws, regulations and procedures.
