- Facilitating the donation process through coordination and communication of referral information and logistics.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of the medical screening process and following established referral intake procedures.
- Evaluating medical suitability of potential organ and tissue donors.
- Requesting and interpreting necessary tests for donor evaluation.
- Collaborating with hospital personnel and developing action plans for donation options.
- Participating in training, process improvement, and special projects as needed.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of emergency or critical care experience.
- Prior experience as a Paramedic or EMT.
- Ability to understand medical terminology and read medical charts.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and conflict management skills.
- Valid Driver's license with ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements.
- Up to 176 hours of PTO in the first year.
- Up to 72 hours of Sick Time in the first year.

New Mexico Donor Services (NMDS) is searching for a vibrant team member to join us in our mission of saving lives. We are in need of a Referral Response Coordinator with expertise as an EMT, Paramedic, or experience in an Emergency Room or ICU setting. Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities are essential.
