    Description
    An employer in the PA area is looking for a Tax Manager. This employee with manage 1-2 tax staff accountants solely dedicated to income tax provision and compliance.

    Manages external advisors to prepare and file income tax returns in approximately 25 countries.

    Manages external advisors to prepare and file the Company's consolidated federal income tax return and income tax returns in all U.

    S. states.

    Coordinates with colleagues in Finance and IT to streamline and improve reporting processes.

    Manages tax audits and controversies, and responds to tax notices as required.

    Recommends tax strategies and tax positions by applying research skills.

    Maintains tax-related account reconciliations and required SOX documentation.

    Assists with special projects as requested by management.

    Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reads professional publications, maintains personal networks, and participates in professional organizations.

    Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.

    Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

    Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

    Public Accounting Experience


    • Big 4 experience
    • CPA or Masters in Tax
    • One Source Tax Provision experence
    • Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance.
    • 47 years of income tax provision experience (Major requirement)
    • Tax Reporting experience
    • Experience managing personnel (12 direct reports)
    • Advanced exp in MS Excel.
