As a Digital Press Operator with expertise in color management and prepress experience, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful operation of digital printing presses and delivering high-quality printed materials.

Your responsibilities will involve setting up, operating, and maintaining digital printing equipment, while also leveraging your color expertise and prepress experience to ensure accurate color reproduction and optimize print files for the best possible results.

Your attention to detail, technical skills, and knowledge of prepress workflows will contribute to the efficient and effective production of exceptional print outputs.

• Set up, calibrate, and operate digital printing presses to produce highquality prints.
• Load and unload printing materials, such as paper and ink, and ensure proper equipment configuration.
• Monitor and adjust print settings, including color profiles, resolution, and print quality, to achieve accurate and consistent results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues related to the digital press, such as paper jams or print quality inconsistencies.
• Maintain and clean the printing equipment, ensuring its optimal functioning and longevity.
• Follow production schedules and prioritize print jobs to meet deadlines.
• Experience on both Toner and Indigo Presses a plus.

• Utilize your expertise in color theory, color spaces (CMYK, RGB), and color management systems to ensure accurate and consistent color reproduction.
• Perform color calibration and profiling for the digital press, ensuring color accuracy throughout the printing process.
• Collaborate with clients, graphic designers, and prepress specialists to understand color requirements and provide guidance on achieving desired color outcomes.
• Conduct regular color checks and adjustments to maintain color consistency across different print runs and substrates.
• Troubleshoot colorrelated issues and make necessary adjustments to optimize color output.

• Utilize your prepress experience to prepare digital files for printing, including assessing files for potential issues and making necessary adjustments.
• Optimize print files by ensuring proper resolution, color spaces, fonts, and image retouching.
• Collaborate with prepress teams to ensure files are properly formatted, trapped, and impose correctly for efficient printing processes.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on printready files to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

• Collaborate with prepress teams, graphic designers, and other stakeholders to address any prepressrelated issues and ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of print projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members regarding color management, prepress preparation, and digital press operation.
• Communicate effectively with clients or account managers to understand project requirements and provide updates on job progress.

• Perform regular maintenance tasks on the digital press, including cleaning, lubrication, and calibration, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in digital press operation and color management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency enhancement to optimize workflow and reduce errors.
• Provide input on the selection and implementation of new equipment or software related to digital press operation and prepress preparation.

• Extensive experience (4+ years) as a Digital Press Operator, with a focus on color management and prepress workflows.
• Proficient in operating and maintaining digital printing presses, with expertise in equipment setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of color theory, color spaces (CMYK, RGB), and color management systems (ICC profiles, calibration).
• Experience with prepress workflows, including file assessment, optimization, formatting, trapping, and imposition.
• Proficiency in industrystandard prepress software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Fiery Command Workstation.
• Familiarity with different printing technologies, including digital and largeformat printing.
• Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to quality control.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
