Position:
Director of Human Resources

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business

Management, or a related field preferred.

  • Three (3) plus years' experience in HR leadership or equivalent work
experience.

  • Strong understanding of federal and local labor laws.
  • A strategic thinker and creative problem solver who takes the initiative and
ownership

  • Track record in developing teams and building skillsets.
  • Experience and working knowledge of various HR functions i.e. recruiting,
employee relations, labor relations, benefits, payroll, HRIS, etc.

  • Selfstarter with a creative mind and a track record of putting ideas into
practice and assessing results.


Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:

  • PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP or SCP preferred.

Pay:
$110, $120,000.00 per year

  • Bachelor's (required)

  • Casino: 5 years (required)
  • Gaming: 5 years (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Portsmouth, VA 23701: Relocate before starting work (required)
