Start your career as a designer in special mechanical engineering at Yorkville

Bring your expertise in the field of design of automated special machines and tools using CATIA V5 and work in a team on exciting projects in special machine and tool construction.

Your tasks

Carrying out production-oriented design work in accordance with internationally valid guidelines and standards
Development, detailing and optimization of components/assemblies taking into account functional and installation aspects
Preparation and coordination of designs in consideration of established manufacturing techniques, materials and technical standards
Development of design changes and documents (e.g. tables, drawings, diagrams, etc.) as well as risk assessment based on specifications
Preparation of bidding and procurement requests including procurement documentation
Leading and coordinating simple sub-projects (press lamination tool design) across various special mechanical engineering locations

Your profile

Completed technical studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, plant engineering) or completed technical vocational training with corresponding further qualification
Professional experience in special mechanical engineering and/or tool construction (e.g. in the field of lamination technology)
Extensive experience in design with CATIA V5
Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English as well as enjoyment of cross-location
