Description

Duties:

• Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen manager or chef.
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
• Handle and store food items in accordance with food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and requests.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen.
• Perform inventory control of all food items in the kitchen.
• Grocery Shopping if needed for the kitchen cafe and assist the kitchen chef.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a hospitality or culinary role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and food safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
