Overview:
Kimley-Horn is looking for Planning students to join our Orange, California, (CA) office This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities:
Additional responsibilites are:
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across teams to produce our clients' visions for the future built environment.
- Prepare quantitative analysis with accuracy and precision to meet applicable scientific and legal standards.
- Develop fluency with the federal, state, and local regulations related to air quality, greenhouse gas, and noise, as well as Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards.
- Communicate the methods and results of analyses to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Conduct site visits, including field noise measurements.

- In the process of receiving a Planning Degree (Bachelors or Masters) from an accredited program by Spring 2024 in of the following majors:
- City and Regional Planning
- Urban Planning
- Environmental Science
- Public Health
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Atmospheric Science/Meteorology
