SUMMARY

We are looking for a Patient Liaison to provide support to eligible health care beneficiaries at the 52nd Medical Squadron/Spangdahlem Air Base.

The Patient Liaison will coordinate with International SOS (ISOS) Near Patient Team and assist beneficiaries who are hospitalized in host nation medical facilities.

They will act as a liaison between direct care facilities, host-nation facilities, and other services as needed.

The Patient Liaison will also coordinate with commanders, medical professionals, wing agencies, and family members to ensure proper care and logistical arrangements for beneficiaries hospitalized in host nation facilities.

They will also relay any concerns about the quality of care to TRICARE operations and administration office and the Near Patient Team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be fluent in both English and German (Level 3 proficiency)
Ability to act as a translator between German healthcare providers and American medical healthcare beneficiaries
High School diploma
Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
Background in nursing, medical customer care, or advice work
Excellent listening and communication skills
Knowledge of medical terminology and customer service
Certified German-English speaker
