    Description

    Park Lane Finance Solutions (PLFS),a leading provider of affordable mortgages for manufactured housing in the Southeast and Midwestand one of The Caton Companies, is seeking a Loan Operations Manager for its Staunton, Virginia corporate office.

    The ideal candidate is a proven leader and builder of teams with a thorough knowledge of the manufactured housing lending industry.


    The PLFS Loan Origination Department is a skilled and successful team and is looking for this leader to help them grow to the next level and achieve even greater results.

    Summary/Objective


    The Loan Operations Manager reports to the President of PLFS and is responsible for leading and managing the loan origination team, developing and refining lending policies and procedures, supporting PLFS employees with the challenges arising from loan origination activities and serving as the Compliance Management System (CMS) Program Coordinator.

    The Loan Operations Manager is responsible for hiring, training, developing, and coaching the Lending Team to ensure employees provide world class customer service to applicants and borrowers and for helping the President ensure that PLFS is successful in all markets in which it operates.

    Experience/Education


    • Bachelor's Degree in management, business, finance, accounting or other relevant field, Master's Degree a plus
    • Mortgage Industry (such as loan processing, servicing, and underwriting) insurance or banking: 5 years
    • Proven experience as a team manager
    • Currently licensed as or ability to quickly become licensed as a mortgage loan originator (MLO)
    • Understanding of compliant loan underwriting, and processing procedures
    • Knowledge of mortgage regulations and industry best practices
    • Knowledge of manufactured housing sales and chattel lending is a plus
    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position; typical work hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm with some overnight travel expected.

    Salary is dependent on skills and experience.
