Job Summary:
Duties:
- Coordinate and schedule transportation services
- Monitor routes and track drivers' progress
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and team members
- Utilize transportation management systems for efficient operations
- Dispatch vehicles using GPS and GIS technology
- Ensure timely delivery of goods
- Handle emergency situations effectively
- To open operating business day and be on sight by 4:00AM
Experience:
- Previous experience in dispatching or fleet management preferred
- Proficiency in TMS, supply chain, and freight logistics
- Knowledge of transportation management systems
- Strong communication skills to interact with drivers and clients effectively
- Familiarity with GPS technology for tracking vehicles
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent phone etiquette for clear communication
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful though not a requirement
Pay:
$ $27.50 per hour
