Responsibilities

  • Obtain considerable knowledge of new SAP system and peripheral systems (Production / Plant Maintenance / Source to Pay) to assist in developing a change management strategy for Northeast Region operations
  • Standardize and streamline work processes in the new system between management units
  • Participate in discussions concerning new SAP system development and provide recommendations as to the needs of the Northeast Region
  • Assist with testing and validation of new SAP system utilizing knowledge of existing systems
  • Manage mater data set up and legacy system cleansing for the Northeast Region
  • Provide training for Northeast Materials deployments
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of standardized SAP security roles with consideration to separation of duties and audit concerns
  • Analyze reports and assist with development of reports required by management
  • Assist with user questions, troubleshooting after deployment
  • Support ongoing Plant Maintenance master data requirements including equipment masters, maintenance plans, work orders, etc.
  • Serve as Operations liaison with STEP/SAP team post golive representing Northeast Region

Requirements:


  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
  • Solid knowledge of the organization, the competences and products of Heidelberg Materials
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • Some travel required (up to 25% anticipated during the project within the NE region and to Corporate HQ)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, inventory, accounting, sales and material movement a plus
