    Job Description:
    Parsons is currently seeking to hire a Wastewater/ Water Industrial Engineer to provide expertise for engineering projects with our water/wastewater group


    What You'll Be Doing:

    Apply a strong knowledge of the wastewater treatment environment and the nature of design The qualified candidate will work effectively on water and wastewater engineering capital project teams, as well as other project related cross-functional teams with representatives from divisions throughout the organization.

    Primary responsibility will be providing process engineering services on client with projects focusing on industrial/manufacturing clients. The senior project/process engineer is expected to be an effective communicator of ideas, project goals and results.

    With minimal supervision, is expected to make presentations and updates to senior management and in broader forums both internal and external to Parsons.

    Working knowledge of various water and wastewater processes such as:

    headworks, membrane bioreactors, Ozone, reverse osmosis, UV, Ozone and other advance water treatment, primary clarifiers, aeration basins, secondary clarifiers, disinfection processes, anaerobic digestion, co-generation from bio-gas, reverse osmosis, membrane bioreactors, solids dewatering and other membrane processes Knowledge and applications of industry codes and standards.

    Ability to work with engineers, vendors, and constructors using design-build delivery methods.

    Ability to conduct independent field investigations and collect field data to support design work Ability to write specifications Ability to anticipate problems and develop solutions to overcome problems Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Travel may be required to meet business needs.

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software What Required Skills You'll Bring:
