- Creation and management of POs for the category ensuring all master data is accurate and supported by necessary documentation, working closely with plant/finance teams
- Approve Purchasing Orders including freight costs.
- Standardization of formats and inputs to match invoice requirements. Solving of any mismatching errors in the P2P process
- Supporting Category/Plants with PPV and Budget reporting accuracy
- Implementation of tenders/RFQ's (also in Ariba) including analysis of "Total Cost of Ownership" and subsequent negotiations of supply contracts as directed by line manager.
- Management of supplier data in procurement system (Ariba) to ensure compliance, including certifications, Conflict minerals, D&B etc.
- Tracking and promotion of ESG compliance including Ecovadis, Code of Conduct, also Environmental and Quality certifications
- Supporting line manager in analyzing, describing, and managing supply market for the categories (including supply base, competitors, cost structures, market dynamics etc.)
- Leading initiatives together with certain suppliers to deliver cost reduction, cash generation and mitigating supply risk.
- Support delivery of the agreed savings program for the category, ensuring all savings are fully reported consistently within established Group reporting mechanisms.
- Leading the resolution of quality and supply issues as directed by line manager.
- Seek and promote opportunities from the supply base for innovation and cost reduction.
- Coordinate transportation aspects of the category, including RFQ, Coordination of Freight, and invoice approval workflow (using internal system - CASS)

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Procurement, Supply Chain or Manufacturing role linked to batch, Gases and Industrial gases are preferred.
- Systems Skills - Past Experience with most recognized ERP and sourcing systems in market (such as SAP and Ariba) is preferred or aptitude to learn.
- Microsoft Office 365 - Past experience with O365 suite such as Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Teams is also preferred or aptitude to learn.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and capability to interpret and communicate technical aspects of production and material procured.
- Communication and Interpersonal skills are essential as direct negotiations and sourcing will be a significant part of this role.
- Time Management - good discipline and prioritization skills are instrumental to balance the support for daily and unforeseen issues with the necessary project work required to deliver the business needs.
- Occasional travel to visit manufacturing plants and suppliers will be required. However those activities are planned in advance in line with line manager

Essential Functions:
Process & Systems
This role will support Category Manager in allocating and recording spend profile for the Category, including P2P activity working in ERP and web interfaces (SAP/CASS) ensuring accuracy of PO and invoice matching, PPV reporting, Supplier management, Supplier evaluation and risk.
Commercial
This role will lead certain Request for Quotation (RFQ's), business cases, negotiations, and supplier relationships as directed by line manager. It will also support in the delivery of commercial KPI including savings, budget and PPV. Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Monitor market trends, pricing, and industry developments. Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
Quality, Risk & ESG
This role will implement and deliver Procurement strategy for these categories in coordination with line manager and SBU & Operation teams, including mitigating supply risk and ensuring consistent material quality and delivery for the NSG Plants., Monitor supplier performance in, ESG and CO2 reduction activities. Develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity in the face of unforeseen challenges.
Influence
This role will work alongside and influence stakeholders including SBU, Operations, R&D, Finance, P2P, Logistics, Supply Base
Strategy
Support Category Manager (CM) to develop strategies with key suppliers to ensure the best value for the NSG Group.
Technical
This role requires a proficiency to understand the technical aspects of the NSG manufacturing processes and the material supplier's production processes. An ability to comprehend material technical data in the context of NSG requirements is also required.
