    Job DescriptionMANUFACTURING MANAGER - 1st Shift

    Accu-Fab Manufacturing, a sheet metal manufacturing company in Raleigh, North Carolina, has an opening for a full time, 1st shift MANUFACTURING MANAGER. This position reports to the Plant Manager and provides leadership and oversight to optimize multi-departmental manufacturing operations.

    This is a fast-paced work environment involving oversight of multiple soft tool fabrication and machining manufacturing processes.

    Management responsibilities include:

    • Provide direct supervision and coaching to department team leaders and members
    • Assisting with interviews and staffing of manufacturing positions
    • Working with the HR department to manage plant personnel matters
    • Monitor and track production schedules, department and team goals
    • Coordinating with department team leads to ensure daily production and planning objectives are achieved
    • Addressing production-related matters relating to job profitability, quality performance, and process/product conformance to specifications
    • Processing personnel/labor entry reports and production status reports daily/weekly
    • Promote and ensure 6S, safety and PPE rules and standards are followed


    Successful individuals will:

    • Possess personable leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional and culturally diverse teams
    • Be detail-oriented and possess ability to multi-task, focused on continuous improvement
    • Maintain a good working knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry standards
    • Possess capability to accurately interpret mechanical drawings
    • Demonstrate experience in the application of quality standards and product manufacturing specifications


    Must-Haves for this position:

    • Manufacturing experience, preferably metal or machining
    • Engineering degree or equivalent experience
    • Lean Manufacturing experience
    • Strong organizational skills and MS Office proficiency
    • ERP experience

    No relocation is offered for this position. Candidates must be located within 50 miles, except Active Military members

    Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship

    Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000, depending on qualifications, skills, and experience
